The Mary & Carl Bach Story

Mary Bach's violent death in 1881 continues to fascinate, and the events surrounding Carl Bach's murder of his wife echo those found in contemporary stories of domestic violence.

One of Wood County's most famous crimes, telling the Bachs' story has long posed significant and unique challenges for the Wood County Museum.

Curator Holly Kirkendall discusses not only the reasons for and the processes used in creating the Museum's new exhibit, "The Mary & Carl Bach Story,"  but also the exhibit's timely relevance on Google Meet, December 2, at 2 pm.
