Weekly Update March 2 -March 8, 2026 Silkroad Ensemble Performs at Your Library! We invite you to join us for a free celebration of music and community with members of the Silkroad Ensemble. Together, we will explore how melodies help us change, grow, and provide comfort. The Ensemble is presenting two community workshops as part of their appearance at BGSU's Hansen Musical Arts Series and WCDPL is glad to welcome them on March 8 at 3 pm in the Children's Place. Celebrate the Securing Our Future Campaign with Us! Join us in support and celebration of the Securing Our Future campaign on Saturday, March 14 from 10:00 am12:00 pm. Anonymous donors will match the first $2,500 in campaign donations on March 14, doubling the impact of your gift. Everyone who makes a donation to the campaign during this event will be entered into a raffle for a prize basket. We will also have crafts, snacks, and Preschool Playtime. Join us to show your library love and help ensure the future of a strong, stable library. Make sure your entries have been dropped off at the library by closing on Sunday, March 1 or entered online by midnight Sunday, March 1. The grand prize is a choice between three gift baskets. Must be 18 or older to win. Learn more and submit your reading on our website. March 1 - 31 Our Interactive Learning Room is set up for reading and handson discovery of sports this month. Children can practice their aim with bowling and putt-putt, learn about the history of their favorite sports, and participate in a March Madness Book Bracket, among other hands-on, fun activities.

WCDPL contributes historic photos and documents to the Ohio Memory Collection as part of the Black Swamp Memories project.
