Get a Temporary Library Account

There may be instances when you need to use WCDPL, but can't get into the library or the library is closed. The library's digital resources could help you out, but you don't have a permanent library card. You can self-register for a temporary library which will allow you to immediately borrow eBooks, magazines, and downloadable audiobooks, and use thel library's online research tools.

Here's how to self-register:

Your temporary card will work with all digital resources for 60 days and will allow you to place1 hold request in the online catalog. When you are able, stop by the library during our Express Service Hours and replace your temporary card with a permanent library card.

NOTE: If your temporary card expires before you obtain a permanent card, WCDPL will not be able to recover hold requests or checked-out items in the WCDPL OverDrive Collection, Ohio Digital Library, and Hoopla.
