
Readers of all ages can explore and learn as the Wood County District Public Library presents the Summer Reading Program for 2025, Color Our World! Register online beginning May 31 at wcdpl.readsquared.com.
The 2024 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prize drawings, storytimes, and more. Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Celebration
Join us to kick-off summer ready on Saturday, May 31! During this day, you can register for our Summer Reading Program, collect your registration prizes, and join us for lots of fun events.
Bowling Green
Join us to kick-off Summer Reading Program: Color Our World in Bowling Green from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on May 31! Drop by to take a turn in our bounce house. Chalk artist David Zinn will also be creating a chalk mural at 10:00 am. Weather permitting, we'll have bubbles, chalk, and face-painting outside.
Walbridge
Walbridge will kick-off summer reading from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on May 31! Hedwig, the Walbridge Library's owl, will be turning 8 years old this summer. To honor him and the library's 150th birthday, the Wood County Park District will join us at 10:30 am to educate everyone on the fascinating world of owls. Join us at 11:30 am to sing happy birthday, enjoy cake, and participate in birthday bingo.
Bookmobile
Starting June 2, visit the Bookmobile to grab a Bookmobile Summer Reading Program booklet and track your reading for the chance to win great prizes. For each book read, fill out an entry ticket, or you can submit your reads online at wcdpl.org/bookmobile. Planning to join us for Summer Reading Program at Bowling Green or Walbridge, too? Not to worry! You can complete our Bookmobile booklet and our Summer Reading Program at your nearest library location at the same time.
